In a post on X, Western Railway informed that the incident of a minor fire was reported at one of the stalls at the Churchgate Concourse area.
“Immediately fire extinguisher was used by the alert staff and everything was brought under control within five minutes,” the Western Railway statement read.
Train operations are normal at the Churchgate station.

The cause of the incident will be ascertained after investigation.
Delhi Fire
In a separate incident, a fire broke out at a shop in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi on Thursday evening, according to ANI, officials informed. Eight fire tenders reached the scene to douse the fire. No injuries have been reported so far at the Delhi fire as well.
