Street vendors are the reason we get to enjoy lip-smacking Indian food. Whether it is gol gappe and momos or chole kulche and vada pav, food tastes different when eaten on the streets. The vendors roam around neighbourhoods offering local foods and working hard to make ends meet. The internet is full of inspiring stories of some street food vendors. Now another video has come to light where a 78-year-old street food vendor is seen selling lemon soda on the streets of Amritsar, Punjab, and managing his cart all by himself.

In the clip, uploaded on Twitter, the elderly Sikh says that he doesn’t have any son and sells lemon soda to earn a living. While preparing a glass of lemon soda, the man shares that he has been doing the work for 25 years.
On being asked how he manages to pull such a heavy cart, the old man replies that he has no other option but to keep working in order to buy food.
“Let’s call the day praising babaji from Amritsar selling lemon soda on streets. 80years of age, his eyesight is poor, can’t hear properly, knees don’t work, still carries soda cart for whole day under scorching heat. His smile is heartbreaking. Salute to his hard work,” the caption read.

The video collected close to 30,000 views on the platform where many lauded the dedication of the old man.
