We Found The Best Way To Clean Bread Toaster In Minutes

Bread in, bread out. And off we go without looking back at the toaster and how we left it. Days pass by and our toaster keeps serving us on all the rushed mornings without getting as much as a second glance from us. And when you finally look into it, you see the brunt of the burns it faced all these days. Cleaning a toaster is never a priority in our clean-up list, even though it is one appliance that gets dirtier, faster – with all the bread crumbs that drop inside and get stuck in it.

Bread leftovers, grease, grime – all can give birth to bacteria, and you definitely don’t want that happening in your toaster. Do you? So, give it a good deep clean to keep enjoying warm and germ-free bread.

How do you get burnt stuff out of a toaster? | How To Clean Toaster: Step-By-Step Description:

1. First and foremost, plug off the toaster and keep it on a newspaper or a large plastic sheet to collect the dirt.

2. Pull out the crumb tray at the bottom of the toaster. Shake it off to remove all the bread crumbs. Clean with a damp wash cloth or with mild liquid soap and warm water, if too dirty. Let it dry completely before pushing it back into the toaster.

3. Now lift your toaster and turn it upside down over the sink or trash can. Give it a slight jerk to shake off and drop the loose crumbs. Put back the toaster on the work surface.

4. Take a close look inside the toaster. You’ll notice how crumbs cling to the wires and toaster slots. Take a soft toothbrush, damp it with some vinegar and clean the insides gently. Make sure not to use a sharp object like a knife or fork, because they can damage the heating elements of the toaster. If your brush can’t reach the bottom part of the toaster, use a long paintbrush to clean out the crumbs stuck there.

5. Once done, turn the toaster upside down again to release the loosened crumbs. Keep it back. And clean it from outside with a damp soft sponge or washcloth. Don’t use a steel scrub or hard sponge that can scratch the surface of the toaster. For stubborn stains, pour a few drops of vinegar or baking soda on your cleaning sponge.

Your toaster is all ready to toast again!
