Young Boy Runs Chaat Stall To Support Family, Internet Showers Praise



Growing up and shouldering the responsibility of supporting one’s family is a dream that many hold close to their hearts. This dream signifies not just personal success but also the well-being of our loved ones, serving as a powerful motivation to persevere through life’s challenges. Meet an inspiring teenager from Jalandhar, Punjab, who has taken on the street food scene to support his family. Facing the hardships of life after losing his father to a liver ailment four months ago, this inspiring young boy, along with his mother and two sisters, has set up a food stall at Adarsh Nagar, Chaupati, Jalandhar. His story gained attention when a video captured by a food blogger on Instagram (@foodpandits) showcased the boy skillfully preparing and selling the popular Indian snack ‘Bhalla papdi chaat.’

In the heartwarming video, the young boy puts together the dish, layering it with bhalla, potatoes, papdi, and then adding a generous topping of chaat masala, boondi raita, imli chutney, and jeera masala. The plate is priced at Rs 60.

The food blogger then tries the chaat and highly recommends it, saying that it is delicious! During the conversation with the vlogger, the boy shared that he is currently enrolled in a private school and is juggling his class 10th studies and managing the family business simultaneously.

Despite his young age, the boy’s commitment to contribute to his family’s financial well-being has resonated strongly with viewers, eliciting admiration and support. A user commented, “Bro, can you provide his account number or some way I can contact him? That would be really helpful.”
